Hey Xers! Did you know Shel Silverstein wrote regularly for Playboy? Who knew the children’s author had a bawdy side?

I guess with poems like that you would need another gig so writing for playboy sounds 'bout right.

BTW, Is he still alive?
Nope Shel passed on about 10 years ago.
Not only did he write for Playboy - he was a song writer as well! "A Boy Named Sue" comes to mind
