Understanding technological change - is Gen Y just too young to remember?

This is funny. But I guess I'm culturally naive - who is this guy? Not Conan, I at least know who he is. The other guy.
Thank you for posting that - I was laughing the entire time. I think Louis CK is hilarious, almost as funny as Chris Rock.
Most of my friends are younger than me and, no, they don't remember. They are tired of my 'when I was in high school I had to actually write letters to my boyfriend at college" story. And the rotary phone bit - spot on.
I love this part: "GIVE IT A SECOND! IT"S GOING TO SPACE!"
I'm sure the Greatest Generation thinks this of us.
"When I was a kid, we had to pop popcorn in a PAN! And CHURN BUTTER!"
What will Gen Z be saying to THEIR kids? "By gosh, I had to get in my car to drive to work! I couldn't just walk into some fancy hologram office in my pajamas oh no, I had to go out in the COLD!"
When I was a kid and I wanted to look something up, I either had to look in the encyclopedia, if it had the answer, or I'd have to go all the way to the library, read the card catalogue (the what??), find a book, check the index and then maybe I'd get an answer.
Mommy, didn't they have Google when you were little?

Humorous, but touches a little too close to home...

My family actually had a rotary phone because it cost more to have the push buttons (they charged you for that service!)
