Sometimes being a Gen X mom sucks

I think one of the hardest part about being a Gen X mom is the homework. Sure, I can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan. However, I don't think I was prepared for my 4-year-old preschooler to bring home homework - which since she is FOUR, I pretty much have to do.

Sure, the experts say homework for youngsters is a waste of time - but what's more important is to make us guilt-ridden Gen X moms do some coloring.

What do you think?

AUGH. I'm so with you. And kindergarten homework, too. My kid was supposed to write all his numbers 1-30 every single night, the last week before Christmas break. You might as well have asked him to do quadratic equations every night under those circumstances.

Yeah, that's a good idea, let's make kids hate school before they even lose their baby teeth. GAH.

Just wait till the art projects start. Then there’s history, math and science. Brush up on your skills.

Oh brother, you are FULL OF YOURSELF! Just like all gen-x losers. No offense, but no one in their right mind wants to hear some damn GenX waste of space bitch about small stuff. Don't you have a JOB to do? Don't you have a KID to raise??
